Secure Managed Firewall

For most networks, the single point of contact with the Internet is through a firewall or security appliance.  This is like the front door in a very rough neighborhood - it's vital that it be secured AND maintained.  Our Secure Managed Firewall service provides your organization with proven expertise to ensure 24x7 vigilance of that critical point of entry.

 

We offer packages for both Sonicwall firewalls and Fortinet security appliances.  If you already own one or more of these devices, we can place them under our firewall management program.  If not, we recommend one of the new Fortinet Anti-Virus Firewalls as offering the best performance and overall value.  Their security appliances are quadruple certified by ICSA labs for firewall, VPN, Intrusion Detection and Anti-Virus capabilities.  All monitoring and management is performed through an authenticated, encrypted IPSec VPN tunnel.

 

Today's firewalls, such as those from Fortinet, are highly sophisticated platforms for a wide variety of security services.  These include VPN secure tunnels to connect branch offices, telecommuters and road warriors.  Others, such as Content filtering, Intrusion Detection and Prevention, Anti-Virus and IKE Certificate services are also offered as options.  Our Secure Managed Firewall program offerss the following services:

 

1. Policy Management & Verification
   All security appliances execute policies that are programmed into the device.  Our Secure Managed Firewall program provides our engineers with detailed reporting that verifies that your policies really are working as planned.
2. 24x7 Monitoring

3. Intelligent Alert Analysis
   All alerts are reviewed and correlated with other managed security devices for trend analysis.
4. Analytics and Reporting

   After extensive internal testing, we will apply the most current vendor firmware and make any configuration changes required or recommended by the manufacturer.
6. VPN Management

7. Performance Trending
